The Foundation was created in 2021 to aid in eventually eradicating extreme poverty, and to ensure that all children in the world have access to proper healthcare. The Foundation finances are designed so that they will not cease to exist before these aims are fulfilled.
We fund projects that clearly reduce extreme poverty or enhance healthcare coverage or quality in low-income settings, primarily in the field of global health. We almost exclusively fund projects where 100% of the funds go to the low-income country in question.
The Foundation name and logo
The Southern Cross constellation and the North Star are used in navigation. Both are intended to show the right direction in the dark. They refer to the Southern and Northern Hemispheres, i.e. the whole planet, where this global health Foundation operates.
The logo includes:
A circle with a fragile atmosphere (Planet Earth) and the ocean (our blue planet + navigational aspect of the constellations).
The Southern Cross represents the Christian values at the core of the Foundation.
